Conference Overview
The Alabama Choral Directors Association Summer Conference will be on The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama from July 12th-14th, 2026. Please mark your calendars to reflect these dates. The conference will include much of what we return for year after year: guest clinicians, interest sessions by choral directors, reading sessions that encompass all ACDA Repertoire & Resources (R&R) areas, concerts, food, fellowship, and fun.
This year, Alabama ACDA welcomes 1-2 Headliner Clinicians every year. Please check back soon for this year's clinicians.
This year's Ecumenical Service will feature a choir of singers from nearly 20 area churches and community choral organizations, under the direction of Dr. Mark Nabholz of Trinity Presbyterian Church, Montgomery.
This year's Headliner Concert will feature The Jacksonville State University A Cappella Choir, under the direction of Dr. Eliezer Yanson, and The Mississippi Choral Artists, under the direction of Ontarius Woodland.
Both The Ecumenical Service & Headliner Concert will be at First United Methodist Church, Tuscaloosa, and are free and open to the public. Thank you to Dr. James Seay for hosting Alabama ACDA!
Should you have any further questions, please reach out to our Alabama ACDA President-Elect, Heather Cantwell, at [email protected]
