Contempo Choral Festival
We are so excited to host the 2026 Contempo Festival on January 17, 2026, at Vestavia Hills High School.
The Contempo Choral Festival is a unique opportunity to showcase groups such as a cappella pop groups, jazz choirs, as well as competitive and non-competitive show choirs. Any age group (middle school, high school, collegiate) is welcome to have the opportunity to perform, be adjudicated, and receive immediate feedback with a critique judge. There are no rankings (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.), so your students can feel successful no matter what level they are! Groups can perform for up to 20 minutes, with a total stage time of 25 minutes. Performances can be accompanied by a live band, tracks, a cappella, or a combination of the two.
Groups will be scheduled once registration and payment are received. The cost to register each group is $300.00, and additional groups will be $250.00. Collegiate and community groups do not need to pay registration fees. Checks should be made out to Vestavia Hills High School, memo line Contempo Festival, and sent to the following address:
